The desire to be an author was always with me. I felt it in my bones at an early age. I had a vivid imagination and in lieu of playtime I would make up stories using dolls and stuffed animals as characters who came to life. I give credit to my father and grandfather who were awesome storytellers, particularly at bedtime when I would wait with baited breath for the last line in a made-up Uncle Wiggley adventure.

I've been writing stories ever since.
